End of our Holiday

Well, we are here in Tokyo on our 2nd last day before heading home to Perth. It has been a very long 5 weeks, but probably one that we wont get to do again for a while, if ever... so we have done our best to enjoy every day as much as we can.

The good thing about being in Tokyo is that we are close to being on the same time zone as home. In America, we were 12 hours behind - so day was night and night was day.. here we are only one hour in front. Having 2 nights here will help a lot with the time change and getting back on "normal" track.

Here are some more photos of our journey so far... it is easier to get it done where there is no download limits!! We have some good movies from downloads over the 5 weeks!!

After Camp Sunshine, we went into the White Mountains for 4 nights. It was so beautiful, and one of my favourite places. We took Jasper to Story Land where the story books come to life, and life-sized!!

Here is Jasper measuring himself against the worm.. he is 41.5 inches and thinks he is "all that". Take note of the patriotic t-shirt!!Here he is with Humpty Dumpty...
As one of the black-birds baked in a pie

When we stopped for something to eat, Jas saw this donkey and wanted a pic..This is in Cinderella's castle. Jasper was a bit scared to sit on the throne by himself, so King Daddy got to have a go too!!

Just in case he decides to become a farmer, it is never too early to get in practice.. it actually squirted water if you squeezed it right!Jasper and I went on a rollercoaster called The Polar Coaster. It was a little scary, but heaps of fun!! We are in there somewhere near the front!!

Most of these places have water for the kids to play in, and Jasper had a BALL. He was so cold after, his lips went blue and he was shivering, but do you think he wanted to get out???This slide was attached to the Chipmunks house and was a bit of fun for the kids. One of the things we did on our travels across America, was to stop at every mini-golf we could find and play a round... well, it was Paul's idea and he and Jasper played while I kept score and took pics.

This one was taken at Hobo Golf... Jasper was pretending that he had gotten into the Moonshine as the sign suggests.

Jasper won every game of golf... he got the highest score every time!!

Well, we have had a full day touring around a Japanese temple so it is bed time.. Jasper says arigato (thank you) for reading, and sayonara (goodbye).

I will post again soon,

Brooke
