Here is Jasper on the train into the City. He looked so handsome!
We met Helen and Ray in the City and got the train to the Showgrounds together. I would say the kids were happy to see each other, but truth be told, we were all happy to see each other!!
Ray and I went on a roller coaster while the "chooks" (Helen and Jasper) waved madly from the sidelines.. it was lots of fun... just a kids coaster, and we laughed and thought it was awesome anyway!! then the boys went on the helicopter ride together.. they got a bit cheeky and were yelling out at the ride operator. too much confidence on this one!!!
There were bumper boat rides... that is Jasper at the front and Ray at the back.
There was the bouncy castle slide (this one was asked about and asked about for AGES and we finally said yes.. before food was the better option).
Dinner time for Jasper was a $7 hotdog. No frills, just a bun, sausage and sauce.. that's right, basic hotdog $7.00. Had to get a photo of it!!!

Back on the train at the end of the night.. it was a very big day!!!
We have Telethon tonight - that is where they televise for 24 hours a fundraising session for the local children's hospital. They get celebrities from everywhere, and I remember as a kid getting to sleep in our sleeping bags in front of the TV so we would not miss a bit!!
Helen and Ray are taking us, so we are excited to see them again!!
