Pre-Camp Sunshine

Ok, so it's been a while since I posted, but we have been busy holidaying, and such nonsense!!

Once we left New York, Paul drove us up to Maine.
Doreen and Jordan came with us, as a surprise for Jordan's siblings, and to also surprise the party go-ers at the Young's pre-Camp party.

Molly either got super tired, or just bored with Doreen, so she slept!!
We rented a mini-van, so there is HEAPS of room for us, our stuff, and random people that hitch rides with us (see above,,, we sometimes like to claim them as random, rather than admitting we know them..)

The kids had fun, putting on some of the karate style gear and trying to beat the be-jebuz out of each other.. Wesley (above) was super gentle with Molly. He is crazy good at fighting, and scares me a little when he gets his "game face" on!! Molly loved it.

I couldn't get the kids to sit still long enough to get good photos... this is about the best I could do!!

The night before Camp Sunshine starts, the Young's have some people gravitate for a BBQ and a few drinks. There were a few people this year, and Doreen and Jordan were part of the surprise.
(see, Doreen flipping the bird - random..)
Molly and her favourite girl, Jordan.
Aunty Kayla and Molly. Let me tell you, this woman knows how to spoil a girl! (Camp Sunshine photos to follow will prove this!)
This is one of Jasper's favourite volunteers, Matt. He is a little bit crazy, so it's a natural attraction! Jasper was so excited that Matt was in the 9-12 group at Camp this year, and even more excited he came to the pre-Camp cook-out!! above, Jasper has sensible face, Matt did silly. Below, they did opposite!!
On the morning of Camp, while all the other mice were sleeping, Molly, Paul and I were playing quietly in bed... I felt a presence, turned around, and there was Wesley! He jumped on up in our bed. Jasper joined him not long after... the song came into my head.. "there were three in the bed, and the little one said..."
Next update (SOON) on Camp Sunshine. Our reason for travelling half way around the world.

Thanks for reading.
