USA 2012 - the journey and jet lag

So, here we are in New York City. It was a long haul, but we made it!!

It has taken a few days for Molly to get over the jet lag, but now, here we are Monday morning, and we are all synced over. 

A 12 hour time difference is hard to get used to.. It is a total opposite!

This first post will just be about our plane flight to get here. I will post again soon on our 4 days here - with plenty of photographic evidence!

We flew out of Perth at lunchtime on the Thursday (so midnight Wednesday NYC time). Molly normally sleeps then, so I was hopeful she would nap on the flight. Yeah, right.. She was super excited for her adventure.

We decided to have our flights booked so we had one night in Sydney. This is what happened after Molly she had dinner and got to the hotel. First time in a big girl bed, no side rails!

So we travelled from Perth to Sydney, Sydney to LAX, LAX to JFK. Including stops, we went for 34 hours travelling.
Jasper was awesome, as usual. eating, sleeping, watching movies.
Molly did pretty good. She was fascinated with the tv side of it, and watched the same shows over and over.. she was a bit upset about there being no Dora or Diego on, but she got over it.

The flights were uneventful - kid wise. And the main point is we are safe and sound. In New York. In summer.
Now if you'll excuse me, we're off to Central Park for a play.
